I had the pleasure of visiting Las Chamas and I was absolutely impressed. It’s a cozy and welcoming place that makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. The food is incredibly delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care.
The customer service is outstanding—the staff is friendly, attentive, and truly committed to offering the best experience possible.
The place maybe not that big, but it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Owners go above and beyond to make customers feel at home. Every dish I’ve tried so far has been delicious, and the “Carne en Vara” is the best I’ve had in years. The only thing missing is draft beer, but aside from that, I absolutely love this charming Venezuelan spot in the Heart of Louisville.
I was quite reluctant to try Venezuelan food… until I discovered Las Chamas. Now I feel like a Jedi who’s just tasted blue milk for the first time—unexpected, delicious, and life-changing. The arepas? Strong with the flavor, they are.
what is venezuelan food?
Venezuelan food is sort of a mix between American and Mexican cuisines. For example, our Arepa is like a taco with an American spin on it.
Do you have a kids' menu?
Yes! We are proud to offer many items for our little niños, including french fries, small tacos, mini burgers, & more!
Can I make a reservation?
As of now, we do not accept reservations. However, you can come in anytime and we will be happy to seat you!
